Welcome to SkiIdaho.org
The Idaho Skiers & Snowshoers Coalition came together in 2004 to fill the need for an effective statewide voice speaking for backcountry skier, snowboarder, Nordic skier, and snowshoer interests to public agencies and political representatives. ISSC advocates for protecting, preserving and improving quiet winter sports opportunities in Idaho’s great outdoors. ISSC provides a forceful, unified voice for thousands of Idaho winter enthusiasts. ISSC
Please join and support the local grassroots group that defends the areas you ski, snowboard, or snowshoe, whether you live or visit there. Local groups need your financial support and membership to have a stronger influence locally and statewide. Democracy depends on participation! Powder to the people!

Bogus Basin Junior Nordic Team
The Bogus Basin Junior Nordic Team consists of approximately 32 young Nordic skiers, ranging in age from 10 to 19. They train on a regular schedule with highly qualified coaches, both on and off snow, and have the opportunity to compete in several races during the ski season.

The Team′s parent board (Bogus Basin Nordic Team, Inc.) raises money for coaching, equipment, and other team needs. The Nordic Group traditionally has made grants in support of Team activities.

Several of our skiers have competed on regional and national levels, but the primary goals of the Team are to introduce kids to a healthy lifestyle, to increase their skills at a truly lifetime sport, to help young competitors to set and achieve goals and to have fun.
